How to report Beneficial Ownership Information

Adding company information

Your company information is pre-filled using the details provided during onboarding and found in the company Profile. Click Edit to review this info for accuracy, making any necessary corrections before moving onto the next step.

Adding beneficial owners

Click + Add beneficial owner to add each of your company’s beneficial owners. Some details may be pre-filled based on your company’s cap table and stakeholder ledger info.

Indicate whether the beneficial owner is an Individual or a Legal entity and click Next.

For each beneficial owner, you will need to provide the information shown on the left.

When adding a Legal entity’s information, simply enter the entity’s name and FinCEN ID and click Complete beneficial owner.

When adding an Individual owner’s information, provide their name and date of birth. Check the box if they own or control 25% or more of the company’s ownership interests and click Next.

Enter their Residential address and click Next to proceed.

On the final screen, upload an image of a valid identifying document and enter the corresponding info. After all fields marked with an asterisk have been completed, click Complete beneficial owner to save.

Adding company applicants

If your company was created or registered on or after 1/1/2024, click + Add company applicant to provide information about the individual(s) who filed the corresponding document.

For each company applicant, you will need to provide the information shown on the left.

Provide the applicant’s name and date of birth and click Next.

Enter their residential or business address and click Next to proceed.

Upload an image of the applicant’s valid identifying document and enter the corresponding info. After all fields marked with an asterisk have been completed, click Complete company applicant.
